Golf & Grounds Superintendent

Joined the team in 1979

Joel has done two tours at Inverness starting in 1979 as the assistant superintendent and later serving as course supervisor from 1989-1995.  After a six year tour at the Ranch Country Club, he returned in 2002 to embrace his current role as superintendent.

Joel graduated from Colorado State University in 1979 with a degree in Landscape Horticulture with an emphasis in Turf Management.  As golf and grounds superintendent, Joel oversees and coordinates all landscape related work at the hotel as well as directing the golf course grounds maintenance staff.

While the main objective is always to maintain the course at a championship level for our members and guests, Joel has been fortunate enough to prepare the course for several local PGA and USGA sponsored events including the US Open qualifying, Sectional Championships, the Colorado Open and the Junior Solheim Cup.

When Joel is away from work, he enjoys golfing, quiet time reading, and traveling the country with his wife Lynn.
